Kitchen & closetsA charcoal kitchen with room to breathe
A dated, dark kitchen reworked into a bright space with smarter storage.
- Location
- Kileleshwa, Nairobi
- Project
- Apartment kitchen
- Scope
- Kitchen & closets
- Duration
- 5 weeks
The brief
The owners wanted to replace a dated, cramped kitchen with something modern that made the most of a small footprint.
The challenge
Limited space, an awkward window position and old plumbing that needed relocating.
What we did
We redesigned the layout around the window, rerouted the plumbing, and built charcoal cabinetry with open shelving, a tiled splashback and a new sink and mixer.
The result
More storage, more worktop and a kitchen that feels twice its size.
